Great2 Meet You: Robyn

Get to know the Great2 team and what makes them tick. We’ve asked each team member a few questions about what they do at Great2 and why. We hope you enjoy getting to know the team!

First up in this new blog series is Robyn Parker, our Finance & Operations Manager.

What do you do at Great2?

I work closely with clients and project managers to ensure that all invoicing is accurate and completed within a timely manner which allows month-end reporting to be done by the relevant deadlines.

This sometimes includes calls with clients directly to ensure that they are happy with the invoicing procedure and that nothing holds up payments. I have also been responsible for chasing outstanding invoices and helping to resolve issues that are holding up payments.

I also work on accounts payable tasks such as inputting supplier invoices, querying errors and setting up payments; accounts receivable tasks, such as raising invoices, PO management, resolving client queries and credit control…as well as managing the bank accounts.

Finally, I also responsible for month-end tasks such as calculating accruals and prepayments and preparing the balance sheet reconciliation, cashflow reporting, along with gathering information.

What do you enjoy most?

I enjoy the flexibility that Great2 offers such as hybrid working. As a team we are trusted with the autonomy to take charge of our own work and encouraged to bring new ideas and opinions to the table.

What are your tips for a great work-life balance?

My best tip for creating a good work-life balance is not to have work emails on your phone! I also make sure that I get out at lunchtime, either for a walk or to go to the free yoga classes that Great2 puts on for its members.
