And back in November last year, we found another reason to feel proud.

Great2 won its first business award

After being shortlisted for an amazing four awards, we booked the whole team a table at the awards dinner and looked forward to a night out together with our partners to celebrate the Great2 journey so far.

We were shocked and thrilled to be awarded “New Business of the Year” in the Derbyshire Times Business Excellence Awards

Winning an award is great!

It was equally brilliant to have the opportunity to bring the Great2 team together and enjoy an evening of good food, good conversations and quite a few laughs. It was a chance to recognise and celebrate the hard work and dedication of a small team delivering on an idea that was hatched less than 18 months ago at the start of the pandemic.

This team of amazing people have not just created a vibrant physical place for entrepreneurs to be based in, but are also developing business support services and solutions to help with finance, marketing and operations - enabling startups and small companies to focus on what they are best at.

While our Great2 team will continue to focus on helping more brilliant small businesses get off the ground and grow, we’d would love to see a future winner of the #DTBiz2021 New Business of the Year award be someone who started out by taking a desk in our coworking space here in Chesterfield.
